My sister and I recently went to Salt Lake to attend a quilt show/auction they were holding at Little America. It was so fun and the quilts were spectacular! Here are a few of our favorites. Not by any means the most elaborate but we loved the colors and the patterns. One of our friends, Margaret Gray, from our quilt guild had a quilt on display, a convergence pattern. It's the lovely juniper green one.

The holidays have kept me so busy that I haven't taken the time to post news. October and November were fun but very busy months.  In October I received a new calling as a Relief Society Board Member that is already adding to my busy schedule. I am in charge of the December Relief Society dinner and taught a class on table settings in October that was a lot of fun. Thanksgiving of course was great, we had 10 for dinner and 14 later on for pie and games. In November I was elected Secretary for our local quilting guild for the coming year (yeah I know I'm a little crazy). This year I'm way behind on my Christmas shopping which I usually try to have done by Thanksgiving. Oh well - guess I'll just join the hustle and bustle of all the other late shoppers. I'm having fun making a few special gifts for family members (my personal favorites are alway homemade). My sister and I are making our 95 year old father a quilt for Christmas which has been a really fun project. In addition I have a few gifts in the works for grandchildren. Overall the holidays are just a very busy but fun time of year.
